☙ Background

Once upon a time, there was a young girl named Alexandra…
Alex (for short) was a ‘normal’ person, more specific at was most people/society considerate at that period to be normal:
Someone with: a stable family circle that never caused trouble, caring parents that had stable jobs, good relationships with her brothers, which each developed on a promising field of study and as for the person herself ‘the average good girl’ friendly, with good grades and positive attitude.
Introducing her family members starting for the parents, the mother is a journalist and his father a novelist writer, both tried their best to give the adequate attention to their kids. Said children turned to be a little disconnect with each other as exception of Alex. The plain true was that her kinfolk’s priority was other, or rather ‘others’. The eldest sister Annabelle was a perfectionist and rather to look on their two younger siblings she rather be with her friends circle. As for the younger, Brother Alphonse, that was extremely hyped stayed more often outside house practicing diverse sports with his own folks.

Fortunately Alex was not alone, she counted with his godfather, his favorite uncle that was his emotional support on hard times; not that their parents were not trustfully, there was things she was not comfortable enough to talk with them. His uncle was the one that introduced to music; he played most of the string instruments on an orchestra and teach Alex on early age to play violin. Eventually it has become a habit to play together with his uncle on New Year’s Eve to the family on their usual gathering.

It was on those very festive times that her world turned upside down.
On the day of the gathering on that particular New Year eve, she was practicing with her new brand violin that got on Christmas; her siblings were almost ready to departure. Annabelle was talking no stop on the cellphone with her best friend and Alphonse was excited to go straight to the sea, as soon they arrived on their Grandpa house. They traveled in two cars; Alex has to go with his uncle since they were the ones so play for the family anyway, and with slight minutes of difference, they hit the road.

It`s was a beautiful day outside, the birds were singing and flower were in full bloom, in days like this tragedies like that one shouldn’t happen. A large truck lost direction when avoiding a wild animal on the road, in a matter of seconds the chain of a massive traffic accident of nearly 60 vehicles, and ocean of injured people and Alex was one of the few that were in condition enough to manage to squeeze out the badly damaged car.
Everything happened in a matter of seconds, a nice day changed to a horror scene, people screaming, fire rising, and she barely conscious.
In a matter of time rescue come to the accident place and so the chaos continue on the hospital nearby the incident.

Because the number of deaths and injured were big, the hospital was packed, she barely manage to locate his family members:
Alex parents were the lucky one, since they had their belts on; most of the injuries were a few broken bones.
Sadly, her sister and brother both of them were in critical condition, as she overhearing the medic’s conversation about urgency of the surgery, she get the bad news about the lack of organ donations.
Finally, her uncle was close to enter on a comma due the damage suffered on the accident the medics had to connect him to machines in order to breath. She still could talk to him and tried to cheer him up somehow, however when he asked about the condition her brothers Alex voice broke, she told him that they were most likely die if they do not get in surgery soon.

The older man, manage to reply to his young niece, asked her to help him to die in order aid Alex brothers, at that point, there was not much hope for him and making him stay alive in a vegetative state would only add more suffering.
Of course, the whole idea was terrifying, but what else she could do? Her brother would die and his uncle will live connected to machines.
What a sad luck that there was no one to stop her as she disconnected the machines and see the man who was more present in his life than her own parents to perish. After sometime, the nurses rushed into the room, but was already too late and the medics had to make a quick decision.

Alexandra was long gone both physically and mentally, the realization what she just did consumed her driving her to despair.
She just killed her uncle, say uncle that was not on the best state of mind and she end up doing his biding, even if her brothers were save, she couldn’t no longer look at them in the eyes.

Four years passed, the whole family mourned with the loss and rejoice with the survival of children’s.
A lot changed those years; especially Alex, It’s was as if a flame that was dying out she barely talked and did not show any excitement for anything anymore, the issue her family attribute due the trauma.
However, it was strange that she no longer pursuit the attention of her brothers (or anyone), not even on the in their recovering stage Alex avoid her brothers, her eyes showed an uncanny emptiness and sadness.

Things get even bad when she started neglect herself completely; at first, she stayed only watching online series and them skipped her meals, sleep, school and even her favorite activity the violin, the only thing she did normally was taking bath and brushing her teeth.

Her parents did not know what to do aside to send her to the medic, that only give her pills that make her sleepy.
Eventually her siblings’ step in dead-worried about her sister decadent condition helped her to make sure that she eat properly,getting new and fashionable clothes , cutting her hair, taker her medication and making sure she come back safe from school, etc.

However the more they cared for her , the more of a burden she feeled that have become, eventually Alexandre amtepented suicide a few times that drive her family to put her on the hospital.

She still your average good girl cherish deeply those who manage to enter into her heart, to the point to drive them away from her, the reason of it is she is afraid to harm them since Alex already bring death to someone she deeply loved.
At first glance, she is an extremely quiet girl, preferring to not make conversation and show little human emotion.
Alex initially rejects any compassion or care that others extend to her, a she feels she is undeserving of it, always aware of her crime which sincerely desire to to atone somehow this drive her to refuse happiness, making life see meaningless.

☙ Story

Full of remorse, she tried to take her own life Alex, but thanks to her family intervention she was saved and later diagnostic with Major Depression (Clinical Depression) - As Alex was about to get intern for treatment she heard about the site Selacs while surfing on the internet and type her onw name on it.
Alexandra mysteriously disappeared from the hospital leaving not trace, leaving her family in dismal.

Themselves: Unable to forgive herself she seek unconsciously to self-destruct, Alex is is unable to move on, regardless by no means she intend to pile more crimes on her account.

First of all, I really love her design. I'm weak for that teal, and the way you've drawn her makes her look really artistic. Second, waaah, such a sad story. I think you've conveyed well how a family tragedy and, most of all, killing her uncle (though I can also relate to not wanting to linger in a hopeless state), affected her. I think the way you describe her depression makes it realistic, both in how her general mood is, and how it has unfortunate consequences with her getting whisked away by a pissed teammate. Hope to meet her in RPs!
